New! The Walcot ‘Ripple Heading’

A simple curtain heading with a contemporary twist…

Our ripple heading is designed so the fabric hangs and folds back in a similar fashion to an eyelet curtain, the difference being that the fabric sits beneath the pole.

It is created by a series of gliders, strung together on a narrow cord which sits within the track of the pole.  The distance between the gliders can be bespoke, depending on the width of the ripple you want to create.  A larger spacing between the gliders forms a thicker luxurious fold whereas a smaller distance creates a softer, more minimalist look.

The Ripple heading can be used on any of our tracked 50mm poles including wrapped, lacquered, and stained wood.

The Architrave bracket

Extra support required for heavier curtains?

Look no further…

…we have the answer that is fuss free and easy to fit.

In response to customer feedback (particularly from your curtain fitters) we developed our architrave bracket to provide extra support as a single unit.  Note the slim back plate that allows for neat fixing to architraves or into narrow spaces.  The hidden wall plate also features a slotted first fixing hole to ensure the brackets can be easily levelled.

Sleek and discreet, the architrave bracket is available for our 19mm, 30mm, and 50mm pole ranges and can be used in conjunction with any of our face fix brackets.

We have a wide selection of bracketry solutions available for various window dressings.

Ranging from recess to top fix brackets, we think we’ve got it covered!

Our connector bracket has been designed to provide a flush finish for poles supplied as two pieces.  The ‘spigot ends’ of the pole slot neatly into the connector, and has the option of increasing the projection from 9cm to 10cm as required.  We also stock a version suitable for corded poles to accommodate the tracking.

And don’t forget our double bracket systems available for 19mm, 30mm, and 50mm poles at the front and a 19mm pole at the back.  With simplicity at the forefront of the design they are perfect for voiles or lighter weight curtains.

We were inundated with some excellent images,  ranging from close ups of finials against vibrant fabrics, to complete room shots featuring Walcot products.  It was inspiring to see the versatility of our poles and finials, used in both traditional settings and the more modern contemporary interior.

We’ve recently noticed a rise in demand for more unusual finishes, and in particular pole sets without any stainless steel, quite a challenge for a contemporary curtain pole company!  Oyster lacquered pole set with bronze lunar finials and Rapture & Wright fabric

 So we are pleased to announce that we now offer a bespoke lacquering service for all our bracketry, hardware and rings, in addition to the high gloss 50mm lacquered poles that we have been pioneering for the last three years.

Something a bit different, with no stainless steel!

A quietly opulent finish that looks absolutely timeless.  This unique on-demand service means you can now colour match all your hardware to your pole in any of our 20 lacquered finishes, or to any RAL, NCS, Farrow & Ball or Dulux colour reference.  Shown here is our popular Oyster lacquer.

Our samples cases – a great free service

Would you like to see our quality & new designs for yourself?

Loan one of our traveling samples cases!

We have a small fleet of samples cases that give you, your customers and staff the opportunity to see and handle our products first-hand, and at your own convenience. They are available on loan to all customers in mainland UK.

You can borrow the case for anything from just a few days to up to a month, and we arrange delivery/collection so it won’t cost you a penny!

Can I put it in my showroom?

The case can be loaned for several weeks and could make an ideal pop-up display feature in your showroom or shop. It’s also a great opportunity to show our range to your colleagues and to get more familiar with our collection yourself.

My client wants to see several finials in a particular colour.

No problem. We can now switch the finials in our cases to suit you, so that you are guaranteed to see those you need. Please specify when ordering.

The cases are ideal for customer visits; they include a good cross section of our range of poles and finials.

I love it! How can I get one of my own?

The cases are available to purchase, but you can obtain one completely free!

Place orders for goods in excess of £1500 (net) in the three months following receipt of your case and we will refund the cost of the display to your account*.

A starry success!

One finial that has had a great reception since its launch last October is the Etoile.

Available in two simple colourways it is a larger finial than most of our range and has an unusual and elegant form.

Made up of layers of hand cut glass we love the way the light reflects on its faceted surface as you turn it, it reminded us of a jewel or cut polished mineral, which is why we named the clear version ‘crystal’ and the striped ‘obsidian’.

It can be used on any of our 30mm or 50mm poles and looks stunning on stainless steel.

As with the majority of our range the Etoile finial is held in stock and is available on a next day delivery service*.
